The research sample was a random sample of all students. The study population was all high school students. The survey was conducted by distributing a google form containing the MAI (Metacognitive Awareness Inventory) questionnaire then analyzed by using a descriptive percentage. The technique of collecting data using survey methods. This research is a type of qualitative research. Metacognitive skills are a person's ability to control the thinking process. This study aims to reveal the profile of high school students' metacognitive skills in online biology learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Metacognitive activities relate to organizing information, experiences, goals, and strategies that support problem solving. The skills needed include problem solving, communication, and metacognitive skills. Education in the 21st century requires students to have skills that are able to support their activities in the world of work. Hasil keterampilan metakognitif siswa dari setiap aspek adalah kondisional 26,7%, perencanaan 24,3%, pemantauan 22,8%, deklaratif 20,5%, prosedural 20,3%, dan evaluasi 17,8%. Hasil survei digunakan untuk mengetahui data tentang kemampuan metakognitif siswa. Subyek dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah sampel acak seluruh siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA. Survei dilakukan dengan menyebarkan google form yang berisi kuesioner MAI (Metacognitive Awareness Inventory) kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan persentase deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survei. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Keterampilan metakognitif adalah kemampuan seseorang untuk mengontrol proses berpikir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap profil keterampilan metakognitif siswa SMA dalam pembelajaran biologi online selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Aktivitas metakognitif berhubungan dengan pengorganisasian informasi, pengalaman, tujuan, dan strategi yang mendukung pemecahan masalah. Keterampilan yang dibutuhkan antara lain keterampilan pemecahan masalah, komunikasi, dan metakognitif. In addition, the study found that the policy model for dealing with floods in Aceh Barat has not had a positive impact on the annual flood mitigation that always occurs.P>Pendidikan di abad 21 menuntut peserta didik memiliki keterampilan yang mampu menunjang aktivitasnya di dunia kerja. Some policies in West Aceh consist of policies made using the rational model and also the incremental model. Therefore, this study will examine how the existing policy models in West Aceh in dealing with floods? And how is the effectiveness of the policy in overcoming the flood disaster in West Aceh? This study is described using a qualitative descriptive approach and literature study as the research method of this study. This also applies to flood prevention in West Aceh. The various policy processes that exist indicate that each policy must be formulated appropriately to create synergy between inputs and outputs. This article examines various government policy issues that often intersect with the interests of many people, even though policy is the main foundation in upholding integration between government, society and welfare.
